Bent Lizard ?????

Recommended Posts

Unfortunately this fella just has a deformed backbone. The problem can be caused by a number of things but essentially the fish is shorter than it should be so as it grows the backbone becomes deformed and changes the shape of the fish.Apparently a fish with this defect is still quite safe to consume and still manages to go about its day to day life without too much grief. This defect can be a lot worse than what is shown in the picture, sometimes the body can actually be bent at a 90 degree angle to the head.CheersSS
