i use the daiwa emcast 6000 works for me big spools and u get a spare one when u buy the reel , i have never had a problem with these reels , tackled big rays , sharks and some larger salmon with ease :cheer:

hey fellas , i was in a titanic battle 2 weeks ago for nearly three hours with a monster off stansbury jetty hooked him at the very end and walked him down the jetty to get pinged 40 or 50 metres from shore ... i got some footage on my phone ill see about getting it up on the net . Was at stansbury again last night no hook ups just lots of broken crab nets

i heard through the grapevine that on the above mentioned day one person was fined over 5000 dollars :police:. Although i dont think it the message has gotten through as the same thing was happenening the next weekend :icon_evil:

St Kilda breakwall is producing some nice ST.s and Yellowfin Whiting tube worms for the whiting and whitebait for the ST.sjust make sure u fish the channel side ....burlz

i agree mate , once there dead there dead , i had a chat with the guy from fisheries and i explained that this was not a one off thing and that regular checks would be the way to go .

Today jewie myself and the kids hit st kilda for some father children fishing action , things started fairly slow but we ended up with some nice st's . The walk back horrified me , group after group of people who had been raking had been taking HUNDREDS of undersize ( extremely undersize ) blue swimmers , mostly females i think i saw maybe 5 males out of literally hundreds of crabs , jewie and i stopped at one group and i tried to explain that there was a size limit and that what they had would get them into some serious trouble , i was greeted with " no no no they good they good " which made

u lose one karma point for instant !
