I know this is not a sunset, but just had to take it.. this was from yesterday at 7:30am as the sun rose from behind me on another frosty -4 degree morning.. much the same again this morning just a little warmer at -2 degrees.. cheers Adrian

Certainly be an easy trout to stalk.... beautiful looking fish.. A bit like the albino trout that's here in Tassie..

I'll be out of hibernation in 27 days time when the trout season opens on 5th August.... Trouble is it's still Winter too...

I only put the music to these small clips because I edited them from my full version videos.. Probably should have left them as they were.. Yes I do use a swivel with the hard body lures as it saves time when changing lures as I often do.. they haven't made any difference to the action or my catch rate either.. also saves me taking my reading glasses with me too.. I was actually a bit slack that day too as I also left the anti kink set up on as well.. something I never use with hard body lures , only used with the blade spinners..

Sorry about the background music on the Mersey River one, in the process of trying to find one without copyrights.. That one was one of them.. didn't like it, so trying another one. may have to do the others too...

As much as I like photos full of colour I also have a liking for black & white photos as there's just something to like about them.. maybe it's because they bring back some good memories of days gone by when all photos were in black and white and even sepia... Today's cameras bring out the best in black and white too... Any way here's a few to start with and I'll add to the list every so often.. They're nice little 'bows wilda.. should grow quite nicely.. Spot on, check for the Cormorants for sure, they'll clean out a dam in no time at all.. can eat up to three times their own body weight per day.. They've cleaned out many dams here not long after being stocked.. cheers Adrian

I'm sure it will run a little deeper too, the bib angle is close to the Rapala F-3 lure.. how it goes, well only time will tell I suppose.. it may just want to go around in circles.. I have tried it out in the bird bath and the kitchen sink by hand and it did have some action to it, they weren't large enough though, really need to give it a crack in a river, but that will have to wait until the season opens.. I'm pretty confident it will work.. cheers Adrian

Some time back during the brown trout season I had three new Daiwa Gekkabijin Yoguri 4F hard body lures of which two were lost to fish taking then into snags under water and the last one finished up with a broken bib thanks to me... It was during a session while fishing low water that had a lot of cotton like algae in it and it kept fouling the lure. After some forty minutes of fishing and cleaning the algae from the lure on every retrieve I belted the lure on the water surface to clean it the quick & easy way.
