  1. It was a nice little session last night mate and I was glad that I was net boy for you again ;DConsidering the confines of where the fish was hooked and the gear you were using it was a great capture but I still think it was the superb effort done by the net boy that was the real credit to you landing the fish. :icon_lol:Well thats enough BS from yours truly and I too am looking forward to our next session.Coonta be patient I think the title will be the Mullie Hunters we are working on it now all Ive got to do is drag Chuck away from his fishing rod so he can film me as the star. :icon_e_bi
  2. Yep those who were at the first ABT bream comp will remember Steve Starling preforming the string procedure on me when I managed to lodge a jighead deep into my hand and it was quick and painless.cheerssnapps
  3. or throw your credit card into the water if it grabs it ......its female :icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_lol:cheerssnapps
  4. Im sure you will catch them in the areas you have mentioned that you prefer to fish. However Ive had great success fishing in the channels in the upper regions of both gulfs.Middle beach, Pt Broughton, Pt Pirie etc etc. I target them where there is ribbon weed dropping into the channel. A moving bait or lure seem to work best for me.When I lived at Pirie I would work a gutter out from 4th creek regularly and caught some great fish there and in good numbers too.cheerssnapps
  5. Yep Ive been using it for awhile now Ive used 2lb 4lb and now Ive got some 8lb that Im using when chasing mullies. I think for the price its good value and Ive never had trouble seeing the line in flight during a cast or watching for movement while fishing sp's.Chuck is right about filling your spool Ive found that by not overfilling my spool I have very few problems with loops except on very windy days.Nice pic too chuck of a couple of average bream :icon_e_biggrin:cheerssnapps
