  1. For true Ifish style, don't forget to only have an evanrude outboard motor on your boat! Don't think those guys would ever get in a boat without one.
  2. I remember not all that many years ago getting 6- 10lb tuna off the seaward rocks at granite island. All on livies. When I was a youngster, I remember seeing some litterally launch themselves out of the water chasing lead lures at the fishermans feet at the bluff, just around the corner from the wharf. Bit of a local secret at the time as my grand father has lived down there since I can remember. He's got some stories. :woohoo:
  3. Bunnings have a battery operated sensor light in the electrical/lighting section for $14. their pretty good, designed for hallway night lights when you have to get up to pee in the middle of the night.
  4. The boats only just been restored too, heres a pic before leaving walkers. Ive had the strap of the winch stolen before on my last boat too. Idiots!
  5. Howdy, would have posted this earlier, but been up at roxby downs for the week. Headed back from walkers flat last weekend and after getting to mt pleasant, the boat trailer wheel came off, with the boat and trailer taking a hard hit on the road. Sinse having problems with my last trailer, I check over it before any trips thoroughly. Some idiot had removed all the wheel nuts on the side thurthest from the camp site. All I can say is I was bloody lucky it wasnt at chain of ponds or in a 110km/hr zone. The trailer fell in a way that it luckily caused no damage to the boat or trailer apart from t
  6. If its shaking violently and sometimes breaching the surface, its probably become unstable from being trolled too fast. Thats if it is swimming straight and not a tuning problem.
  7. When I was 15 or 16 fishing at the Bluff at Victor, I thought id hooked a big ray, no kicks but was moving. I fought it for a few minutes before gaining line and a diver came up. Id hooked him around the belt and when I spoke to him after he said he was trying to trick me until id managed to tire him out. :woohoo:
  8. Got to be catching a big reddie in the torrens on my first home made lure when I was around 12 years old, nothing like catching a fish on something you've made yourself! And seeing the fish slam it. :cheer:
  9. It could be the same situation as the whirly birds you see out in the flat dusty areas in summer, with the clouds so low, the top of the funnel has caught the cloud.

Ive had more luck with that stuff cranked up than with out it on at all.My sad theory is when trolling the music "wakes" them up and their senses are tuned in a bit more in time for the lure to pass by.
  11. Gday mate, there are very very few of the floppies around now, there are people out there that will pay hundreds for them. Or keep them, as more and more people collect these days and their value will increase with time.
  12. I was just spewing I was on my own and couldnt get a pic of myself in there with it!
  13. How bout this one from cadell on a hard body a few months ago.
