  1. ive used schneider previously.. in fact its spoolled currently with it :)but the line is very old now. have found a spool of the STREN HEAVY COVER line at a decent price. which is meant to be built for rock fishing with heavier resistance to fraying etc. which made me ask the question..not spooling it for a little while yet.. so plenty of time for other ideas and research cheers!

  4. Am going to give my old alvey rod a clean up and get her ready for some serious fishing sessions.. its been ten yrs since it was last done and the glass/resin/coat on the old single piece is flaking off. going to rub down with steal wool or very fine paper then reseal it. was wondering if there is any recomendations with what sealer to use?

  10. im a member of 2 groups, one i run.. and a third group soon.. hopefully ill also be admin of, i belive in their worth to the members as only as much as they put in. my Carping group has A LOT OF LURKERS and this really annoys me. as it started as a close knit bunch who met up down the river and decided to make a group so we could organise trips and share tips. we also openly post our trips via the forum.. tho our carping threads havnt been as prolific of late due to low catches or softy not doing anything stupid enough for me to write about ;)I will be conducting a Cull of Idling member

  13. a quick google..."Pork BungsPostby ChiefThunderbutt on Sep 27 2008 3:54 pmOn a recent trip to my local Asian market I was confronted with several packages in the meat counter that were labeled "pork bungs". I have eaten many strange foods in my travels but never, to my knowledge, any pork bungs. The National Pork Producers Council in cooperation with the National Pork Boardoffers the following definition; The rectum or bung attaches to the colon end of the large intestine and terminates at the anus. It is more bulbous in shape and wider and has more membrane covering than found on the large intes
