  2. Pt Gawler is a great spot with great views especially on this day, caught bugger all fish for some reason though. Hope the photo comes up.
  3. Nice looking rod ya built there well done, should have some fun with that.
  4. Not sure but a month or so ago when the full moon was as close to earth as it has come in a long time I went to the beach fished hard for two night sessions, not a single bite couldn't beleave it,but in the day time salmon everywhere.
  5. Back to the fish I'm guessing that was a s/t I filleted one a few months back that had a cavity in the flesh full of what looked like green gritty/muddy stuff. Needless to say didn't eat that one.
  6. Made an early start for the trip over to Yorks fished land based all day with my best whiting at 42cm on the Pertek brag mat.

    Eulogy

Profiler? not a fin nor profiler was it? I have one of these and hope it has a few good years left in it yet. It will be a sad sad day when it does one day die we've had such fun together.one of my cheapest rods but still my favourite.
  8. Tuna sandys cuase when ya got fishy hands ya don't even notice.
  9. The main reason i didn't want a tank is the cleaning and maintenance but we seem to have it setup alright.I say we i mean she my wife and son do all that but there isn't much to do and we have about 25 fish and it always looks clean. Don't know what filter it is though my job was building the cabinet. will try to put up a photo. Not to good with this computer stuff though and my camera's broke have to use the phone.Scott
  10. That's a really nice setup love the curved glass. Should look great once all the fish are in and settled. got my son a 3ft tank for xmas last year didn't have much interest in it my self but i do now and my wife even more so she wants a bigger tank already. Well done Scott

    Cockling

Hi all, went down to Salt creek last week and noticed a small sign has been put up at Tee Tree crossing saying no recreational cockling allowed until further notice. Goes onto say the only area allowed for recreational cockling is Goolwa beach. seems silly to me to restrict us all to Goolwa beach while the pros get 20-30 km of beach at Salt Creek. Does anyone have any other info as this is one I would like to be corrected on.P.S Hope I've done this right as it's my first post. Scooter
