  11. Hopefully the tide is turning and Pollies are realising we vote Yes Fishie...Labor in NSW lost almost every coastal seat last state election. The Fishers and Shooters Party gained many sitting members as well. More than the greens. Now that is sending a message!TB
  12. Just a few questions I see evident in this statement:What is this marine infrastructure and water authority? What is it's aim and purpose? Why wont there be any environmental studies performed prior to dredging and disposal? Surely this is a prerequisite for any proposed project of this magnitude?Should cost blowout (as normally happens) does that then mean less in the kitty for proposed pontoons, boat ramps and artificial reef construction, or will more dollars then be forthcoming to ensure these projects still go ahead? It sounds to me like a very broad statement, with little forethought, and

  16. I think the future fishing stategy in Victoria is a real concern. This was submitted to thier primary industries department.Note: See the first and only real citation at the bottom of this report. http://vnpa.org.au/admin/library/attachments/PDFs/Submissions/Sub-ACF-VNPA-Future%20Fishing%20Strategy%20Submission.pdfWell well....who would of thought another pro marine parks bible was reiterated almost word for word.Would you want to pay entry fees for access rights in the future without any well funded recreational sector? Then there is...... No place for it in the modern world? In NSW in 201

  19. Any new tide can bring success talbo....the pro's don't always have their lines in at the right times either.A spot could get hammered for two weeks. Then the following tide after the pro's have gone can still yield a good reccie session. Such a trend would rarely be sustainable long term though.TB
