correct me if Im wrong but Im pretty sure snapper dont breed/spawn during the month of November to my understanding I thought they did in october?

fish varie between markets just because there caught here in sa doesnt mean they'll be sold here, different states have different size limits

I can see both sides of the story here as I've done some fishing for a few pros. It's there living they have paid that money to fish they way they do and take the fish they take, unfortunatly it means some of us reco's may miss out but there are a lot of snapper in the fishery no matter how many they take.I agree that it cant be helping the fish by taking that many, but its their job.Ive seen the pic of the big red a very solid fish

a 4120 is a 4 wrap the front number is how many wraps they are and the last 3 digets are the length ie 5120 5 wraps and 120inchs long

should be able to find something on youtube everything else is on there!Otherwise just scratch around in amungst the sand look for darker spot in the sand thats a good sign a bluey will be hiding in the sand, you'll hear through your crab rake a total different sound when you have scratched a shell, scratch back toward yourself rolling the rake over at the same time and you should end up with the bluey sitting on your rake untill he starts kicking anyway.Hope that helpsDubs

raking I would go on the run out a few hours b4 it so you can follow the tide out and as it turns follow the tide back in, netting from the jetty it wouldnt matter as much but a run in tide would be the best
