This is a general vote on weather i take the BC to streaky bay for 4 nites and three days fishing. Ive never done the trip so im not sure weather its worth towing the boat all that way for a limited time. Will it be worth it?? not sure sooo im running a vote system on weather i take it or not. ill tally and with 2 weeks to go ill make decision based on votes as i can't decide. People i have a 30th comin up and im keen to get HD handycam to mount on the dash of the BC looking back towards the stern. Im wondering if anyone has one that they use for this and if so what brands and extras should i be looking for. I would like it to be good quality as i intend to post vids on here if successful of course! Any help would be sweet cheers OSps i am aware that it would become my new hoodoo/unlucky charm

Gday guys im of to streaky on the oct for 5 days. I will have acess to a small boat but ill be mainly land based. Ive never been to the EP before but have read alot about the place. Am wondering what i should be trying to target? will there still be good salmon on back beach?? also if anyone can fill me in on the info i have that snapper move thru this area at that time of year as id love to spend a nite on the stones. Im REALLY looking forward to it as it'll be my first fishing trip solo (without wife and 2yr old) but ill be with 4 bloody good mates. Any help appreciatedCheers OS

Ale,I was on the southern end of southport today and scored more than a dozen trouties. I'll be on pieties jetty from 4am onwards on Sunday morn if ya keen to say G'day. I woul expect the salmon will almost certainly turn up there at some stage on Sunday, weather will be perfect for it

cheers guys for the info plans changed again! arvo session is now on so bait shop hrs wont be an issue lol:)recently had a mate over from perth and he swears by spleen as a crab bait and when i told him about the laws here he couldnt believe it! iagree tho withpirsa noot cool having all that offal hanging around jetty's in and on them.
