  3. Alot of hard effort will get a metre fish, i don't think people actually realise how hard it is to crack the metre it might be tomorrow it might be in 5 years time.............. It's not just a matter of 2 trips.... Less talk more action seen me finally crack it after absolutely flogging the onk to death for months on end...... Nice fish never the less.............
  4. Cracker..............................
  5. Jack my friend i wish you all the best of luck..... I envy you i have chased them hard for 5 or 6 years in the onka pa skum pond got a fair few legals and cracked the magical metre on lure twice in one week caught bulk legal fish, but im over fishing in creeks haha it's time to get a big fish no more schoolies for me if i can help it................. Mullies = time i havn't got to spend really but ocassionally get out and have a crack............
  6. Word of warning to fisho's using fish measuring stickers, i purchased a boat a couple of weeks ago and just by luck, i put a ruler to the sticker and got measurements 5mm short on each increment, i do say that these were old stickers as well but i guess that wouldn't bother fisheries when they throw the book at you... I went to bunning and now have a stainless steel ruler siliconed to the side of the boat... Im guessing the stickers shrink so just be very cautious...Cheers
  7. That's shit mate hope all comes together soon.... Times are tough even quiet in the trade im in, which normally never see's a dull momment...
  8. Saltist 40 wil be ample, i use the Saltist 30T for snaps and i run a Saltiga 30T for big kings with a carbontex upgraded drag all standard speed........ A 30T would suit what your fishing for loaded with 30lb Fins braid and up ya braid when fishing for big kings to say 50 or 60lb tuffline xp and maybe upgrade the drag ..

  12. Just wondering why your fish has flared gills and blundstone imprinted inside the gill rakers, and also a very stretched tail..pmsl
  13. Lol that's gold.....Well done man, nice fish draw the score haha i still just might sneak down the Onka for one last crack .........
  14. Yeah it's pretty common that some people are selfish, i have been caught out and no 1 wanted to help either i had to ring a mate to come save us luckily it stayed calm if it blew up we would of been in deep trouble in a 4.5m boat 16km's out...But in saying that people sometimes know that their boat has a problem but still persist to hit the water and travel out then cant get back, but you'd still help them no matter what.... Well done for being thoughtful.. Imagine if it got that rough and something did happen and there were kids involved as well, it's a no brainer really.. You'd do what any n
