was in swan hill vic a few years back and catching a heap of carp and throwing em on the river bank when this vietnamiese bloke started picking en up told him u cant eat em mate the taste like mud he starts luathing at me and says awww carp wery nice fish i cook im for u u like very much so thought wat the hell hve eaten worse while a grunt then carp so over a few ambers min cooked up this curried carp tell u wat it aint that bad to eat if cooked right

Had an argument ages ago with one of those mobs that asks for money to feed the starving pepole of epheiopia told them it was natures way of levelling the population to were the country could survive man did i get an ear bashing . But as i see it the world can only support so many then its going to start saying to itself ok lets levell the playing field if in forty years thers no fish then it just means we are one step closer to nature levelling the playing field

bocky fannys cove is between esperance and mungelup the lakes you were fishing sounds like its towards young river great spot for bream trust me I know got a few big ones down there . Am thinking of heading back there at the end of the year with my bother in law and his familly so will let you know how we get on :cheer:

Well all as you know Im a west aussie so this place is on the west coast . so if you ever get over that way and want some seriouse fishing off the beach this is the spot to head for . the place is called fannys cove and is about 50 miles from ESperance heading towards Ravensthorpe .Serious 4 wheel driving to get there but well worth the trip . Now we break down the cove into 2 pieces the cove itself is about 1 mile across and well protected by a reef so safe for a tiny to venture out if you dnt mind white pointers have taken some nice skippy of the beach here and some nice sized dueies, salmon

old pc plod must of had a bad day or noddy gave him the shits still id rather do wat you did and through em back then move somewhere else up the beach and start over again . From wat ive heard the reason that the bag limits droped is because there arnt as many around anymore so instead of hasseling the littel guys why not go after the pros and drop thier lisences and quotas as they do more damage to the fishing industry the the average joe :S
