  5. For Land based anglers.Last night (Thurs) it was reported on CH 7 that yellow fin whiting and blue swimmer crabs were caught of the Sema4 jetty.Obviously their research leaves something to be desired.Sema4 jetty is closed and will be for some time to come.So don't waste your time and fuel coming to Sema4.

  15. Had a further thought about this and can't say I blame TonyB for getting rid of the cockles, I don't necessarily agree but probably would have done the same thing. When dealing with a bombastic and self opinionated treatning copper he could have checked the cockles and decided there were a couple under zize one's ( even if perfectly legal) and thrown the book at him.If it went to court and Tony had numbered and photographed each cockle they still would have found an excuse and the magistate or like clown would have been onside with the copper and Tony would have lost the case. At least this way
  16. Nice pics mate especially the bridge
  17. I'll go along with nev. However just a thought, why not soak them when brand new before any usage !!That way the oil should get in there well and truly providing more protection and a slick as nev said.
  18. I try cooking oil first, tuna oil smell is a bit difficult to get rid of the hands
