myself and another Hooker ventured into 4 local Northern tackle stores today gathering some useful info on some tackle we may purchased down the track :drink: since the outburst from our members in another post about the service we were receiving as customers i was pleasantly surprised today to be greeted at 3 of the 4 shops and to be helped out with all i required and also some helpful tips on a fish which i love to target so well done lads And to the shops i didnt get to, look out cos i'm the BAROMETER to which our members look to as a guide and i may just be popping into a store near you :evil: :evil: :silly:

the hobie stand was exceptional mate. it was in the pavillion with the club marine stand stabi craft's ,northbanks and the big food area cant believe you missed it. well done binks not into the kayak scene but seeing your crafts and set ups was great cheers 4THA.

well i spent the day down at wayville and to be honest it was a lil bit dissapointing there needs to be some local tackle shop/s there to sell there wares as anaconda and the sydney based one are just clearing out excess stocks. i did purchase a strudwick 701s sick stick pro for my up coming bream tournaments :ohmy: which was very well priced.i did sit through a session on sounders which was interesting. asked a few q's to the EPA. and coast guards etc and the perve on the farmers union stage was ok i guess overall i would rate it a 6/10 needs pole dancers or semi nakeds handing out flyers on how to tie knots

im back and the result a pityful 4 squid I toiled for several hrs only to find 2 pockets of these tentacled terrors and all falling to the cloth version of the oita which was soddenly soaked in power bait juices.On a few occasions 2-3 would inquire but hesitantly/frustratingly wouldn't hit the jag/s the ones that did were on the cast and out further. more research is needed, so i will just have to go out bloody fishing again :woohoo: :woohoo: p.s no silver lining HOOKERS :ohmy: .cheers 4THA.

well hookers i'm heading out tomorrow for a few hours chasing the above mentioned and i will be trying something different.i have a few soft plastics packets which still have plenty of scent liquids left in them and have condensed them into one pack so i have placed 2 of my "A grade" starter jags in tha fish erotica juices :ohmy: and i'm leaving 2 of the same jags out with no juice's on em to see if these pheromone's work for tha Egi's . (they are cloth jags as well for those who are wondering)I will post a report 2murra nite and let ya's all know how i went cheers 4THA.
