Thats the problem. They do have an idea and that idea is to tax anything that the average person enjoys and or needs. Alcohol smokes petrol now fishing anything that is hobby related seems to be taxed highly. I think a fresh air tax is due next week

I wouldnt think it would be fishy. It was a dig at the stupidity of the law not anyone being injured. Older style bull/roo bars can have sharp edges and with spotties fitted the potential to cause more harm to an individual as well. Yet both these items will not draw attention to your vehicle yet even the fitment of a bull/roo bar can now render your vehicle illegal if you go through and find the right law to apply it to.

Seen some old fish with heads like that ( well not that bad) but they do seem to be uglier on the east coast

Only if they paid the advertising fee. Generally there is a special deal with an advertorial where you pay so much and get good positioning for the ad as well.

That is wrong and blatant advertising and should be noted in the story as well so that readers do know that there is a vested interest involved. Nothing wrong with plugging a good product but when it reality it is an advertorial then the reader should be made aware of that fact

Check out some of Ashes vids. Very impressive. Will have to book a charter one day with him. I did a charter back on the gold coast a few years back. My missus sent me for a birthday pressie (probably hoped the boat would sink ) The service was excellent lunch (cut sandwhiches) and softdrink provided, good quality fishing gear and baits. In all honesty worth what they were chargin but I came home disappointed as I had guys either side of me catchin fish same rigs and baits and I caught not a bloody thing :S

I read and enjoy both but was a bit disappointed with both this issue. What do you class as local? To me local is upper spencer gulf for others it is metro waters. So where should they base their local reports. It is a state mag after all.

Thats true. I love just gettin out. If no snaps then can always grab a few cuttlies while there or have a shot at salmon or whatever else hangs around there.
