thats an awesome video shauno. we seen you guys at the darwin airport on the monday night. we fished shady camp as well. didn't do too bad on the barra. caught about 25 on the way down to the mouth and then hit the jewies up out on one of the reefs. caught three up to 20kg's. they fought pretty hard in five metres of water. was gunna say g'day at the airport but was too rooted to get out of my chair. those red eye flights take it out of ya. once again, great footage.shanep.s. what is the surface lure you are using? it worked. and were you guys fishin in the fresh or salt? cheers.

how ya doin fisho's? just went to the beach and caught some clickers. now all i need to do is to rig them on the hook so i can hopefully catch a yfw.any idea on how to rig them up the correct way?cheersshane

you can virtually use anything for burley but its probably not the best idea throwing the cans in when you cant take them home with ya cos if we all did it, there would be heaps in the sea. i found quite a few on the beach this year at carrickalinga and normanville. shane

use the mullet gut for bream bait. they go off on it.shane

i've bought top quality jags and cheap jags and i think i've had better luck with the cheapies. shane

g'day all. i've just bought myself a 2nd hand luvias 2500 and i wanna know, is it better if i run 4lb braid through to a leader or would it be easier to run 4lb flourocarbon the whole spool?cheersshane

thanks for that spog. also, fresh gardy strips is also good. just thinly cut like gent size work a treat. thats if you wanna sacrafice one gardy to catch a few more. try lettuce in the berley too. shane

i have a g loomis dsr820s gl2. its a cheap loomis but its still the best rod i've got for sp & hb work. with a shimano technium. still, nothin special but its still the best i got. i'm upgrading soon. maybe not the rod, but i will upgrade the reel for sure. hopefully my first daiwa. probably a sol 2000kets kick some bream assshane -
hi all.I've been considering purchasing a fairly flash bream reel and i was looking at a daiwa luvias 2500 or a shimano twin power 1000fb. does anyone out there have any advice on these reels or have owned one? any advice would be greatly appreciated. cheersshane

probably own a dozen rod and around ten reels. my mates tell me i'm crazy and think i have too many. i say never enough. now i know i'm not the only one that loves the extra gear. i'm saving for a better combo now.shane
