  1. Mr Keen, they were hot to trot two months ago and has slowed down again in my experience. Nowhere near the action as two months ago, but the weather cooling off hasnt helped either. We've had some quiet cool nights for this time of the year.
  2. Yep #300 is a great colour, discontinued and even from japan would be almost impossible. I stocked up a while ago, as its my favourite colour in the SR. I dont really want to part with any of my 6 But i'll see if i can help.
  3. Haha as if, bit flash for bogans!
  4. well as it happens i know someone who bought one yesterday for $1500! He's laughing because people already have been paying $2000 plus for them. Its an investment and will only go up in value as it is limited edition.although that one on ebay he is dreaming coz his starting price was too high.I have held it and admired it, its bloody nice! although i'm not a fan of gold, i think too much looks like an italians necklace! And for the uneducated, the reel comes with 2 different size spools and 2 handles! check out the price of exist spools and handles! with those with it, it isnt much dearer than
  5. Best boots are on hornes, theyre proper rubber blundstone boots with awesome sole. cheaper ones have good sole but hardalmost plastic boots.Neoprene if a good pair are waterproof, but very hot when its warm and they have a down right dangerous sole. Think of the old surfer joe thongs, thats the type of sole they have, scary in the mud.
  6. Just letting people know pethrox, all the huff and puff of "last a lifetime" wears a little thin "great pun that one". when they dont.
  7. Maybe you dont know anyone who actually fishes(wears them) more than twice a week. i'm not the only one who has had the problems with them and you know that, Daves had his back through the shop twice and once direct. one of those through a mishap the rest is wearing out.Ive seen supposed measured to size ones that clearly had to much leg in them wear out from bunching up and then going back getting patched and then patch wear out in less than a month. Mine keeps leaking through the seams even after being repaired. Its all good that they will repair, but while theyre away getting repaired do you
  8. Hornes last a lifetime if your one of these fisherman that does a once a year salmon or mulloway trip, use them 3 times a week and they wont last long at all.
  9. Big lizard uses glow in the dark frangers! :icon_e_surprised: :icon_lol:
  10. so did you catch anything whilst over yorkes?
  11. I'm not saying godfrey is shit, i think young brooksey is getting a little too excited. And brooksy the truth is he didnt win, so he missed by 15gms. you need the fish that count, and he just didnt get em. All you have to do is look at the top 10 bream rankings for 2008, he aint even in that. consistancy is key.And grumps, yep understand about the editing of the posts.
  12. how many fish did godfrey get in the first one? anyway you'll see how good he isnt!
  13. Haha shimano wont if Ben godfrey keeps ballsing up, he put diesel in his tank on todays show and lastweek drove off with the leccy down. Dizzy's won the bream and will win the GRand final.
  14. Nice salmon big ian, great fun on the light gear. but the reason that split ring let go is because it looks like a lure bigw/kmart sell? I had one to throw around dodgy bust off area's.Probably not the best split rings.
  15. The pics were copied from another forum, not here. The link to the thread was passed on by somebody, and they copied it from there. They're idiots because as i said if they waited till they contacted me first they couldve had the real story, and the real facts. Instead of printing what they did so they didnt get done for plagiarism. Its not like the story was priority, it didnt need to be printed the very next day after seeing the link as the net was found weeks ago.
  16. Surely you must know these things you ask ?as stated by you on another forum you say your a "reel junkie" most people i know that are "reel junkie's" and tackle junkies know these things because they keep up to date with new products over the years as they come out.All ive ever seen from you is "reel junk" apart from a saltiga wich you bought after going on about high end reels being a "con job' and not worth the dollars! And what happened too that? you sold it! {SMILIES_PATH}/rolleyes.gif oh and a diawa airity or emeraldas have soft closing bail arms too an extent, but really what do you call
  17. In these tough times, a HB that still has alot of action on the slowest of retrieves will usually come up trumps.By action i mean more roll than wiggle {SMILIES_PATH}/wink.gif

  20. I didnt say "DONT" I said they dont take them as frequently as their cousins!I know they take emm, coz ive got them on both vibes and poppers/ surface lures. And the "vx,s" are the blade type anyway. Dont rattle like the vibes your using there finatic, nice fish there {SMILIES_PATH}/wink.gif
  21. Theyve been in adelaide a quite while now, have a couple and caught a few bream on them but the hard bodies still kill em. Dont get me wrong they work, but next big thing could be a bit rich. Hope to be proven wrong buttheyve been out for a while now and only seen a few bream caught and pictures with them and most are advertising. Its again like the hype with bream on poppers, yellowfin bream are different to our black bream and will go vibes and poppers more frequently. Remember the hype with stiffy's! hey whats a stiffy? Oh thats right they were the next big thing on bream! Hmmm yeah right,
