  2. I wanted to add a pic that I took at Walkers Flat while fishing with Scorpion last year to help show the plight of our river
  3. coonta kinta wrote: Me either was there a reel or something in that pic
  4. Mate buy local at least you know what your getting
  5. Its a bloody disgrace the state of our river the pollies aren't gunna wake up they haven't yet Penny Wong is all wong and can't get it right and Rann seems more interested in talking tough to bikies instead of fixing our river, stand up Rudd although they inherited the problem as those before them done nothing .I can remember 30yrs ago experts were saying if something is not done we will have problems with the Murray running out of water, yes 30yrs ago I can still remember it like it was yesterday and they laughed "its the Murray river" "it will never run out of water".My favorite
  6. And Ranger can type faster than me and beat me to it
  7. G'day Del,Colour: Most of the colours are for the benefit of the angler so if your fishing with soft plastics you see the small bites in the line from fish by the line twitching or slowly moving off in another direction. But if you can see it the fish can, thats why you need a fluorocarbon leader, 1: so the fish can't see the line as fluoro has the same light refracting index as water and 2: you can't tie braid straight to your lure or jig head. Fireline crystal is a good braid to use 8lb braid would be a good replacement as braid is much thinner than mono, or 6lb what ever you feel comfo
  8. My comments in your posts were exactly that weedie, just a bit of ribbing, sh*t stirring and me being a smart arse at the end of the day as the guys have said, its just a forum, words on a page. Just poking fun at ya mate cheer up
  9. Station, you loaded looking at what you got  When you get the urge ya just gotta have a fix
  10. Good luck with the combo Mick although I must agree with S_F but that's just personal preference mate that's like putting Falcon wheels on a commodore lol
  11. First of all, on Rangers 1st post, that is absolutely ridiculous. What these pollies sit in there offices and think of ways to make money, "Hmm we need to make up a couple of hundred thousand dollars..hmmm..what can we do"..."I know I'll tax the hell out of Snapper fishing and screw the rec community while I'm at it" "brilliant I'm a genius". What a toss bag he probably has never gone fishing in his life, you idiot.Big Ian's post, again another cheap way to make some money and rape the public but with that article, could this be the way of the future for us rec fisho's :S
  12. Hmmm I might go just to have a look ;)Web sitehttp://www.adelaideboatshow.com.au/index.php
  13. Here is mine, caught during the first Callop Classic at Cobdogla in '07. I think it was about 40cm or close to it and it absolutely smashed the Marz Cod Raider lure I was using.
  14. Good one benny that's what I call going the extra mile for a mate (lets hope Ranger doesn't read your post I don't want him getting any ideas other wise I'll have to invest in some goggles, snorkel and flippers  )

  18. My post is gone for some reason  I agree with Pillie, Platypus Stealth is the thinest, strongest, cheapest and best I've used so far
  19. I brought a Kix 2000, I like it that much I brought another one great reels
  20. I'm lucky that I already have mine, but, and this is just a personal opinion, its not such a bad idea as long as we don't get slugged some ridiculous amount and the money gets put to good use like improving ramps around the state and not lining Mr Rann and Mr Folye's pockets
  21. All fixed Thanks to 1onmepillie from Adelaide Bait & Tackle ;D http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/MF1fOUCU__Tip_Fixed.JPG[/img]
  22. Typical of our soft courts system, why do you think people like this do it, coz they know they will get off lightly :, he was fined $50,000 previously $38,000 and $9,000 and I wounder how much of that has been paid back!!!! : well if ya hadn't broken the law ya would have your licence disqualified you head ::)The 'fisheries' need to have more bite than bark, a bit like someone labeled the EPA once, a toothless watch dog :thumb:Its the same with these little juvenile delinquents who keep steeling cars, vandalism, graffiti, robbing and muggings they keep doing it coz they know they'll
