1. unless you throwing weighted cut pillies out (GOOD LUCK WITH THAT) burly wont help to much off the rocks as current runs fast in the channel but you will catch fish there if you keen, and pick ya tides as sam said... BTW whats wrong with Tommies i love catching them for bigger bigger fish :P

 2. SHARKS are everywere! I wouldn't go swimming ALONE in a lagoon in THE TOP END OFF THIS COUNTRY, and i wouldn't go walking ALONE IN THE JUNJIE JUNGLES OFF AFRICA!!!I certainly wouldn't go for a DIP OR SURF ALONE along our BEACHES!!!Put me in the water with 100,000 other swimmers on a hot day and ill take those odds.. !!!THINK ABOUT IT!!!If u get eaten! U JUST WERE UNLUCKY OR STUPID!!!Cant blame the fishos on the jetty or the thousands off boats crabbing and using burly pots a few extra ks out from our beaches!!

 3. I park my MSP ute out front when i go out night fishing a BIG THANK YOU for telling the snoopers to piss off....I'm sure boaties happy to pay extra 50 cents on fees at that ramp if it meant we could fish without the worries off coming back and finding our cars tampered with or worse..u could sleep easy...BTW if i see anyone looking suspicious i will ask what they doing be it there or anywhere else..

 4. could the shirts be something like this?I am looking to buy a couple but don't want to pay $60+ to be a companies advertising board unless it's something I support. So S & H shirt with our sponsors logos (may help costs?) would be something I would buy.

 5. It sort off does answer some off my question Moggy, the 900 quota bit :) and yes was keen on making a day off it, just no idea off were to go? or how to go about it? do you need anything? ie 4x4 to get there? and yes would be happy to go with someone that knows what there doing or someone that doesn't like me :) Just never done it b4 B)

 6. Has anyone used these? Was thinking about buying one for the boat to chase kings around Rapid bay, Wirrina cove at Xmas. Never caught a king b4 and definitely on my bucket list. What else could they be used for besides kings? I mainly fish out St kilda dont want to spend heaps on something i only use once, and more importantly do i need one to fish for kings from boat?

 7. I Got a second hand garden mucher, smashes anything frozen i can fit into it, cuts it up fine too! crabs shells, fish heads ect. Also i just use an okky strap with a spring clip that holds onto the handles off ya plastic shopping bags. (get the okky with the clips from 2 dollars shops)I already have the burly frozen inside the bag punch as many or less holes as you like. When empty grab the next bag, no mess no fuss. I have never had a bag break away yet. And a good way to use up all ya excess shopping bags :cheer:

 8. Sweet thank you, BTW i going to ask a dumb arsed question.. What you mean by not leaving black on the fillet, just asking because i planning on targeting gar this season, by float, by boat, by net, Ok the net bit didn't rhyme.. But point is i love em and should be able get some...

 9. This thing got here today they said it going to pull 18,000 ton off bait fish from our shores,Not to mention every thing else it might drag in trying too find em.Who is the person responsible for letting this in thing into our waters?Whats next? Letting oversea countries come in a mine our minerals?

 10. You tube is good for learning how to fillet them, like Damian said.Freezing them (the fillets) is recommended. The reason is when you catch them they put up a fight and what happens is when they struggle or a stressed they release a chemical in there muscle tissue, blood ect, which gives them that ammonia taste, vac seal em if you can, freeze em at least 2 weeks i find more is better. Gummy so far is yummiest :) Haven't tried hammerhead but hear it up there with the best off em,
