Nice squid!!It was nice out yesterday ,we were out in the bay from 9 -3.Off from West Beach the water was not clear though - not squid for us - but did get my first bag out on KG's - took some doing with lots of just undersizer's going back.

Let's you you have plenty of Salmon and Snaps for that smoker!!I love my smoker, I'm not keen on "fishy" tasting fish so this opens out a whole new world.Tommies are great - nice and oily.Not managed to nab any Salmon yet for it.Snapper is out of this world - on the bigger fellas smoke the Wings.Best sawdust to get is the one from Angler's Choice - made from the old wine barrels - cheaper too!

BTW - this is not getting any easier!!!Why is this so hard this time around???Arrrrggghhhhh

I can now confess - I'm a NON SMOKER.As in - kicked a nasty habit :woohoo: Stopped the day before the cruise so now nearly 3 weeks.Anyone who has fished with me knows how addicted I was - especially having to stop and have a cig while pulling up 20lb Snap! :silly: :silly: I found it easy on the cruise but now back home it's harder for some reason - perhaps familiar surrounding and habits.Using the nicotine gum.Tried total cold turkey - ya don't want to know me!! :evil: :evil:

I'm interested in people's opinion on this also.I have a knack for catching Pt Jackson sharks ( don't want to!) but if they taste nice........... Hmmmmm?Looks like there would be a fair bit of meat on them.How would you despatch them quickly???

Your roving S & H reporter here - from the Coral Seas.Force 10 gale last night,4m seas, looks like we are going to have to miss our first port of call as the going is slow.The ship is lovely and she's coping well,it feels more like we are on a plane than a ship. Not met spotter yet.

Yup - great stuff isn't it?I was also given some of it.Great taste and cheaper than any other!
