  1. Guys!Easy imports is a good importer now with agents here in SA!Have a look if ya interested! Just google em!
  2. Ill generally fish deeper grounds with a bit more flow!Ill be fishing saturday however won't get on the water till later in the arvo and fish the stronger run out tide. The earlier incoming 'dodge' tide looks horrid and i would be far more confident later for sure. Save me wasting most the day otherwise.
  3. Ah' date=' but on paper they have said they will be aiming to be "carbon neutral" - through the usual smoke-and-mirrors of carbon credits, offsets, RECs etc. As to who ultimately foots the bill for this environmental friendliness of course, well...[/quote']And this is all on top of the huge amount of electricity they already use! Apparently Sa water is already the highest user of electricity within SA (as a result from the pumping of water from the Murray and into all the resivours)...go figure!
  4. I'm with you hoopsy...couldn't agree more!
  5. The gap is the best abalone spot I've dived (big as they get) BUT even parking at the gate and walking to the gap is a NO NO! The rangers go absolutely berko! It's basically a no go zone now!
  6. G'day ABF,I use buoyweather which I've been told is what the navy use and I think it would have to be the best by far! You do have to pay for it tho for the 7 day forecast (approx $70 per year). I think you will find that Forecasts sites never seem to predict sea breezes or gully breezes though either! Glongo
  7. Hey pete!As srick said the local salmon beaches hold them at times! Millers hole, salmon hole, lone pine (basically the whole of sleaford bay) will have them! Give them all a try...I think I'll find the fishing pretty damn good even if your not hookin the jewies! Some of the spots are pretty dangerous if your not careful and remember a cliff gaff for the holes!
  8. I pulled them up on it and tried to explain the rules. After they played the language barrier game I ended up calling fisheries. I wasn't convinced they didn't know what they were doing.Advised by fisheries that they were too busy to attend. Was told that a call had already been made about the group though.I urge everyone to just call fisheries when you see the wrong thing being done. The rules are made to protect the amazing resource that we are lucky enough to have on our doorstep. I personally want to take my children and grandchildren down there in years to come.well said mate and good 1st
