samrota 1
That's a big doggy. I got one off Wallaroo Jetty a little while back that went 16lb. Seem to be in plague proportions at Grange. One night i would have caught 25 doggies in a couple of hours of Grange Jetty. Was filling in time while waiting for a run on the shark line.Cheers.Sam

southie THE BANGA 2,304
over easter time we headed over to port lincoln.. on the way back we stopped at Cowell for a few hours fishing. went right to the end and even though people underate them we were haivng a ball on the doggies down there... i was only using my small baitrunner and were peeling line like no 2morrow between of us we got maybe 3 or four in that hour maybe that were around the metre mark... but they were thick down there that time of year... smokeykebab 175
i've got massive doggies at ards while chasing jewies of the jetty. damn dogs even take live baits. not much fun on heavy gear tho. always nice fun tho when a fish makes the drag get a workout. southie THE BANGA 2,304
we get em at ards in the crab nets all the time.... but i never get em fishing for mullies down there as i use a float so the bait doesnt sit on the bottom.... mind u anythings possible if there really hungry i suppose

whyallabrad 0
Thats a good one. Don't often catch them over 20lbs. My biggest 3 were all on marion bay jetty one night on squid heads while i was fishing for eagle rays. Between 10 - 13kg....all fat and pregnant. Gave up on the eaglies after that, lol.
