the tommy king 0
not much good landbased coz it sinks so quick. not bad in a boat though
breambo25 1
Looks good but I would still prefer to use a fish imitation over a prawn one.Wouldn't it be a bit unnatural for a squid to see a fast sinking prawn? Whereas the fish imitations can be worked to look like a baitfish darting just above the seaweed.Just my preference though. Others are welcome to disagree.
blightmadi69 0
I have had one for a couple of months and they are Killers Metro. They are only good in deeper water as they sink real Fast (3.5gr on memory cant find any lighter anywhere) Probably the most consistent Jag I have in the Kit at the moment, Mines white yellow and pink Blighty afishyfish

Just Me 0
They're shit house mate. Get the Yamashita live in orange size 3. leaves the rest for dead. And a word of advice, stay away from the shimano kiemura or however you spell it the friggin' thing, cloth is crap, will look like shit in no time, go yamashita or evergreen. Stay away from the crap brand gesola, no bcf or rays outdoors shit either.

Just Me 0
Hahaha Kingsley, gotta love the squids thought baloon, hmmmmm shrimp yeah, i'll go for it..."keep the line tight, let it drift for bite, keep on rockin' in the free world...yeahhhhhhh... :laugh:haha, reminds me of Kellys Room at the Clovie back in the day, keep it toight, jeak it off, let it sink the pink... 4THALOVE 45
the idea with the fast sinking is so the squid get a visual glimpse of it going through the water if you read through some of the dedicated squid forums its all about flashing and "jerking" to get there attention if ya ever seen the way the comp guys do it you'd be like wtf it's quite funny to watch they cast out then jerk like crazy cheers 4THA
Scissors 308
Looks like it is designed more for the Japanese style of squiding. Not to say it wont work here, could be very handy if there is a strong current.I might buy one but then again I probably have enough.

Kingsley 19
It's got love hearts in its eyes in the bottom part of the pic, much like when you first spotted your beloved Stephanie!
jackblack86 5
Got one From got one to give it a try. First pulled it out at brighton (orange and green) and pulled a squid on my second cast. Managed to get two out of my three on the jig, it does work extremely well but you will find it sinks real quick and theres nothing less than 3.5. Other than that they are great, just remember a more realistic prawn style jigging is required (almost sounds like a type of fighting style) I reckon they would go well under a float with a little bit of chop but yet to full try it out. Guest
No doubt it would work to some degree but i don't seek to over complicate the simple art of squidding and i especially don't seek to waste cash on unnecessary tackle when my old faithful Yo-Zuri jags work so well. BUDMAN1396235523 0
Ive taken a little weight off mine using a model die-grinder so it doesn't sink so fast and it works brilliantly.
