Port Lincoln Wharfs and Jetties

Recommended Posts

Unfortunitly I have never really fished for any of these species :( I have fished for squid but never hooked one. I would love to catch even a small trevally but i have no idea how to fish for them. What baits' date=' lures and rigs should I use and what is the best time for them tide wise?[/quote']Get plenty of burley going. Nice oily pellets or bread mixed with pilchard oil. Then just drop half a pilchard or a big pilchard cube down on a 1/0 hook, no weight (or as little weight as conditions permit) and you'll be on in no time. An hour either side of the change of tide is best. For squid just be there at either dawn or dusk, doesn't matter about the tides.
