Grumps 0
i mince up the guts and frames and put in my berley mix Next time throw some chook pellets,(laying pellets) into the mix as well... :fishing:I quite often use chook pellets as berley, and they work.. ;D
benny 1
Most fish are cannibals, with the possible exception of mulloway, bream, whiting and snapper, so ya can mash up mullet and salmon and still attract them.

Grumps 0
thanks i should look into the chook pellets would be cheaper than bought stuff do ya need to ad tuna oil or do they work ok straight Why not chuck in some tuna oil,but I only add it just before I chuck it in as the pellets go soggy, great for surface feeding fish like gar, tommies, but straight pellets do good on whiting, bream, flathead,as they sink to the bottom.. By the time you throw every-thing together it would make an excellent berley..

Guest SuperThahn
Mulloway are canibals as i have seen a mulloway caught on a mulloway fillet and when he gutted it there was a undersize mulloway in its stomach.

grouchy 2
so that begs the question. Would you get a fine for catching a undersized fish if you caught in the guts of another fish
