Meppstas 4,966
Here's a couple of photos of what has become a common catch here in Tasmania nowadays, not only that, they are big fish as well.. They now have a bag limit of 5 fish per person & a 10 fish possession (house) limit placed on them which is good, minimum legal size 35 cm. Hunter69 1,462
Do they taste like rubbish that big? Anything over 50 / 55cm here is strong to eat. Even when bled. Not a fan personally.

Not a fan personally. Nope, not in my experience anyway, got some a few months back when visiting Dad, 2nd time I've had them, could have been the best fish I've ever eaten. Agree our big ones in SA are hit and miss, they seem to smash the worms hard often at larger sizes and take on the flavour. Meppstas
