weaver 271
One word,, INOX
watersnake 2
It maybe just old age but i have to ask what the hell is INOX?
vb4me 1
Inox is the Aussie version of wd40. So its better . It also doesnt dry out the way wd40 does. I have used the stuff for ages now. Apparently its non toxic too.
vb4me 1
Here try thishttp://www.inox-mx3.com/inox.htmKnew of inox and lanox but they have a good range of stuff
Del 245
we stock inox, lanox, lanoguard, and now stock a spray from CRC called Tackle Guard. which i just saw at work for the first time today.
vb4me 1
Hey Del what is in tackle guard? It has been around for a number of years. Have never used any of these on my fishing gear though just in case the fish can taste it
Del 245
no idea... i work in a car parts retailer! not even a fishing shop!!!inox is what ill be purchasing next.. :)VB i can check out can contents tomorrow for you. will hopefully remember.. and write it down
coight 0
Weaver you got it! A lot of the bream guys use it me included, open your tackle box and let it rip!I used to keep bream in my pool, we'd get hammered and have a fish off, once 2 or 3 were caught the bite would shut down.. the only thing that would fire e'm up was a bit if inox on the lure or bait, so dont be worried bout that on your jig heads or trebles. SSSHHhh we like to keep that quiet

pellipeeli11 0
gidday Watersnake and othersI have used WD40 for years, also Tackleguard,CRC,Penatrene, even Bushman spray on my reels, lines, lures, baits, etc ,Never worried about it affecting catch rates and on some occasions it definatly has not bothered the fish. I even tried Kerosene and Glowbait on worms and shrimp in west lakes once ,after reading about it being good for Bream, NOT GOOD,left a Longgg Bright green oil slick for all to see. (exit stage left asap). On hooks and swivels just use tuna oil, just a little in in tackle box tray it will also stick the hooks etc to the bottom of the compartment. VB4ME Tackle guard is made by Shakespeare i think and is in a purple spray can (small)Just remember guys we all use WD40 or similar on our gear after we wash and clean it,OR at least I do. Cheers peelipeeli14
Del 245
VBCRC6028 tackle guardhttp://www.crcind.com.au/catalogue.nsf/%28MSDS%29/TACKLE%20GUARD%206028%20ncr/$FILE/MSDS.pdflittle purple can as mentioned
vb4me 1
Yep know the can. Never tried it though. Thought it was a bit of a lure for fisherman lookin for a way to look after their gear. Up the price cos its a specialty item when a cheaper can of wd40 would have done the same job. After reading the msds I think inox is definitely the go
Del 245
cans are tiny.. and even at staff price.. i wouldnt buy them...id go inox.. i can get a bigger can for the same price!
statesquider 0
I reckon i'll grab some INOX, didn't realise it was australian  All these years I've been buying wd40 (hangs head in shame)
