ok long story short...Few of the bangas went for a ninght trip to Port Elliot.. using the rigs we use at Ards we sent out Saurey pieces under floats.. basically jimbo james hooked onto something BIG!! in the shallows, it went crazy, zig zagging all ver the placethen crossed all our lines, went under the jetty and snapp see you later. The water was dirty so we couldnt see colour.. Jimbo didnt seem like a mully, and from my experience it didnt look like a mly taking the float under.. but i thought that it was a kingy or a small shark just from the look of how the line was peeling and the way it

i have 1 spooled with 30lb mono, 2 spooled with 25lb mono and one spooled with 15lb braid. leader size depends on where im fishing...jetties i use 40, salties i use 60lb and in the rivers and lakes i use 15 hook sizes range from 4/0 - 8/0

i use the diawa mr minnow lure in pilchard colour and whitebait type colour.. neva failed me..

Port lincoln with 2 fellas from work i got family over there and one is a chef so free accomidation,free food and plenty of good times i hope....

agrred... i use rovex aswell and the dye has faded on it but still good strength there...

Hey all.... im planning a week or more trip to head to ellistion for the Sambo fishing comp. AS i went last year its was really awsome, the only problem was i went by myself... This year i would like to get a few people together to make it even more enjoyable..so was wondering who would be keen to get a group together and fish the comp?? was thinking of also going a bit further south and doing some fishng around pt lincoln way :)it would be around the end of july start of august im thinkingAnybody out there keen???
