  1. 3 days too late. They run 3 mths of the year, that being 3-4 days after the new moon - June July and August
  2. Looks like Pam wants you around for a while mate
  3. Got 2 friends to crew and I hope they are fit because if the worms are running they will need to be. Last year Joy and Lofty were sweating and down to shorts and tee shirts Would be better to have 4 as crew but that's life, same as last year. Weather looks unreal under 4 knots from the west by 8-30 pm, outgoing tide and moons great. Looking forward to worming and a laugh out on the Will put up photos (if I remember to take the camera)
  4. Doing the worm run on Wednesday at Ardrossan and might have a couple of spots available on the Panga. Launching at 1800hrs snd should be back in by 2100hrs and back to sort at 2230hrs if interested Pm me or call me on 0400010095. Got the nets and the lights.
  5. So true and again a top post Adrian. Well done my friend. Wish I was there but bloody cold here let alone there after coming back from far north QLD
  6. Those photo transfers can be a bit 'sloppy' sometimes, especially if you dont reduce the file size before importing them. Been there before so now always write my longer posts in Word first and cut & paste into S&H! That is the issue I had going back and forth. Took about 1 hour and then, even though it was on "auto save" I lost it all.I wish I could figure out how to be able to go back to the my photos instead of hunting for them. You now know why Brutus. Would like to catch up before I go back to Adelaide (home) this week. I will be writing the story by hand then do it on the
  7. I got half way through my post on my trip to FNQ and lost it while transferring photos. Will try again today.
  8. Poppa we only need to talk and share our adventures. We have met before on the wet stuff. Always want to fish with others that, lke yourself that have input to the site mate.
  9. Really well done KS (Allan) Great report with photos. You have set the bar high. A HUGE thanks to the sponsors and management for the effort all have put in. Hope this continues every month as I want to get out fishing. (desperately) Just need crew and weather. Bloodworm run and winter whiting coming very soon so I will be coming out of hibernation as of next week. Also going to Cairns at the end of the end of the month fishing with Joy and will take camera and not pad to capture wins and failure's. Have access to brother in-law's 6.4 mtr alloy set up with 2 x 90hp motors and
  10. Awesome. Thanks for sharing Adrian.
  11. You guys reminded me as I have just come over to the shack so checked out the freezers as I know Mr A is wanting some exercise so I feed him just now. My angry happy cleaned but still wants MORE. This model has reversible blades but after a years working hard they are still sharp. 20 Kilo + of Kg, snapper teasers hopefully soon
  12. I don't make pellets just crab, prawn, yabbies and oyster shells, that I introduce to "Mr ANGRY" A long neck Rover muncher that makes a joke of the above left overs and is choice for all types of fish you are chasing. I can make 10 litres in about 20 seconds (sounds like a 747 starting up) Google it at trading place or Gumtree. Great playing the destructor with this "toy"
  13. I knew you would make it happen mate. :clap:Well done Craig
  14. Well done Adrian, well deserved without reservation IMO. Fantastic contributor and adds good input to the site. Congrats mate you earned this. You know me I hope to follow in your shoes and do some of my "like old posts" Well done mate. Your a celeb now. Love your work
  15. How much are they and are they the galvanised ones. I ask this because 1. have heaps of large razor fish in one area over near the shack and 2. I am in the fishing comp at Hughes and will be going past the shop at Moonta which I always call into.
  16. The tackle shop here at Ards has them. They are heavy duty and....... $80
  17. I will call you mate DO NOT RIVET
  18. Thanks Tackle's I know and have seen "Bill the fish Monger" traveling around Yorks in his Mec van picking up fish and transporting large quantities of fish to Victoria, from pro's 2 to 3 times a week!!! With my own eyes and got it from his own mouth. He has left SA and is now in Vic as he owes a lot of black money to many people. And me but that is another story. And I would say this is going on in other areas of our SA gulfs and waters IMO, We could compare it to the stock market, (better prices and sort of species and with larger population comes more demand) Cheers
  19. Hi Tackles, remember you from the dark side You really knew what you spoke about, as you were was always about the politics and I respected you for that. I think you were at the protest in Adelaide. I know you know me. When I said "IMO we the people own the waters / share and as a sport" was not really meant as it came over. I do not like or want to be dictated to by politicians that know jack and do not fish but look after the PROS. Over on Yorkes I see it all the time. Car park full of pro boat trailers and F250's Look at how many tackle shops have close or are struggling ! IMO lic
  20. Just a though? What about tourists (terrorist's) from other states that are not aware you need a licence ? Or the family of 4, say teenagers and mum and dad, that save money to hire a holiday house and this a once a year trip ? do they have to fork out money ? IMO we the people own the waters / share and as a sport why would we have to pay more monies when we do not know where it is going. Just my view looking at the big picture IMO without getting too political
  21. Sadly I was driving at about 0645 this morning and started feeling real, real unwell near Clinton and called Craig while doing the vomit thing on the side of the road. So I turned around and headed back 30 k's to James Well. Dam shame as I was packed and ready early this morning. Wildfish knows from trips at MB when this occurs.
  22. Dropped 2 net in a dam near my shack / place and pulled them this arvo/ Result 60 on the dot and some are huge Anyway Wilda called me tonight and ..... guess what we are going up the river tomorrow (bit of a surprise) So Sonar and myself are travelling to Blanchetown to enjoy the adventure / journey. So off tomorrow early and Craig is supplying almost everything :clap:catching MORE yabbies and maybe some fish as well. The adventure is what counts IMO. We will post a report. Cheers Gotta enjoy the journey
