I've used a $20 inflatable kayak prob more scary then fishing out of a belly boat. His a Jeremy Wade wannabee clone but with no class or skill. I still watch it though nothing else on at that time.

try around the pylons light line and unweighted if possible or a small sinker if needed. have caught plenty of legals they give a good fight especially so close to the pylons. tiny bit of bread on the smallest hook works well

Prefer 20 pound Mono as line but open to recommendations.[/quote']i like the epix. i have it in the 80 size. its my kingfish and stingray reel. plenty of drag power and good line capacity. on a 40 epix i'd run 20lb braid which i use on my avenger 40 almost same specs i'd say. if your going mono and fishing off a boat 20lb mono would be fine.

lol if you want value for money get an okuma baitfeeder. i use the epix, avenger, trio, axeon II and stinson and can't fault them. the marado will do the job but its not the smoothest or most reliable reel out there. better of spending double and getting an okuma. stay away from the Outdoor Expedition, Tidal, Pursuit reels there trash the rods are ok for the price. the rovex is just a rebadged marado same specs i'd stay away from it though.

the broomsticks make excellent stingray rods. load up with an 8000 spin reel and 50lb braid and watch the rod bend.

river monsters with jezza wade and youfish tv with winga don't mind a bit of rexy hunt eithe cant forget extreme fishing with robbo green too

plenty of undersized st. few mullet and even fewer legal mulloway. west lakes has been more productive over the last 2 months then the mouth for me.

those are horne waders im wearing in my dp. walk out chest deep cast out a livie stay dry and warm and even a 50lb mully will be impressed.

just put a peg over your nose and don't fall in. some good fish in there.

i think it was approx 350 a tub and about 4-5bux for sheldons gents. only time i ran out was when someone knocked the tub over spilling them all out not mentioning names codey.

i have it spooled on my small baitcaster yet to use it though. feels very stiff and wirey though i don't think it will work that well. but will give a definitive answer once i've used it.
