  1. Had a few sessions flicking SPs in the Port River recently. Have been struggling to find a decent sized Bream Lots of little STs about :)Little Bream from Saturday. One of many little STs about.Little Bream from yesterday evening.
  2. Cheers Cal, would've replied earlier but I got stuck on the congealed rubber disappearing below your posts.
  3. Ok, thanks for the replies, 'note to self' do not store any SPs with Zmans! Pretty much always keeps them in the packets in the back pack so no worries there! Sounds like the Squidgy changes aren't to popular!Love the plastics fishing, knowledge is power, thanks for the input.
  4. Ok, it's good to know other fishos have noticed the change. I haven't used the newer ones much so I couldn't say for sure if there's a difference in success rates, but from the replies it doesn't look good. Cheers fished out. What do you mean by 'they will melt with other soft plastics'? Do you mean literally melt at a certain temp, or just become just another SP? Cheers.Still on the beers! Go FREE OHHH but only by 11.
  5. So sorting myself out for a LB Gar fish session tomorrow morning, berley done, Gar rig all good, Gents still wriggling, but thinking should take the SP set up too, for a flick as I head out. Had a look at the last lot of Squidgy Bloodworm Wrigglers I bought compared to some older ones I pick up off site member Chopper recently and they are very very different. The old ones are much softer and stretchier (?) and the new ones are much more like the Zman soft plastics, much more rubbery and tougher feeling. Has anyone else noticed this?Yes I have had a few sherberts but atm this is very importan
  6. 6lb Fireline and 6lb Berkley Vanish flourocarbon leader atm, I like the Berkley Sense and the Sunline flourocarbon too. Fireline has been on there for approx 3 years with no worries, but it is starting to get low.
  7. Very nice fish mate. Congrats on the PB.
  8. Yeah I'm in again. $20 to a good cause and I've got an excuse to go fishing KGW and Australian Salmon are not very common at a comp' winning size where I fish land based, so I told the Missus "the target fish this year are Black Bream and Garfish, so I'm definitely in with a chance darling  :silly: , but I might need to be out all day trying to upgrade, OK?"
  9. Playing games on the computer at work. Very productive. :silly: Fills the gaps to the weekend!
  10. Nice one DT, I hadn't seen the last link before, just been saved to my favourites, cheers.
  11. You don't find that your pot/bucket swings back to the rocks either side of where you are standing depending on which way the tide is going, in or out?
  12. It's Victorian! They all look wierd. Probably on swimming enhancing steriods too.
  13. Yeah mate that was me mate, carrying way to much gear for those rocks. And vxman had a lazy sleep in. Hopefully getting out again this weekend. :f :woohoo:
  14. Nice photos Milmo. I was on those rocks on Sunday with Vxman, but a bit further up. We pulled a couple of Blueys up on the rods too. Got a few fish out of the channel side but nothing special.
  15. Haha, some amusing dribble! Makes me laugh how some of the quality posts/reports and pictures on here get a couple of "Well done mate" replies and then you get a post like this one when the said fish hasn't even been caught! there is no photo! and the identity is unknown! and there are pages of dribble, admittedly some of it is very amusing. Whatever makes your boat float I suppose, but give me a decent report and a few decent photos any day! Sorry for adding to the dribble...... :vomit:
  16. Awesome footage Jack. Lots of negative talk about Dolphins, but they are a good inication of a healthy system. IMHO.I paused a toothy frame of your Flipper and could see no bit of hook stuck in there, so this is not our Tommie thief/Symetre smoker!
  17. Nice work Grego, great photos. A few nice feeds there mate.
  18. Awesome stuff Ugly, I fished both these spots recently. Trevally, Tommies and Squid from the 2 platforms and I fished around the corner of the wharf in the second photo for Trevally, one I couldn't stop and got busted off on the wooden poles, and 1 Kingfish which was just playing with me before it spat the SP hook. A great place to fish when the wind is gonna knock you off the Jetties. ;-)
