  10. brooksey and i just cover the tail with a rag, then rap the tail up with the rag, we usually do this for eaglies in the boat! If you catch a smoothie on the other hand in the boat, the best thing to do is just cut your line at the side of the boat, cos they have mega barbs and two of them!
  11. not sure what my first fish was, i think it was a puffer from perth when i was 6 on a handline... lol how this, my dads first fish on soft plastic was a 51cm mulloway... lol
  12. those crabs are definitly in plague proportions, ive been casting out big baits of the beach and while walking out to cast the bait i recon i step on about 5 or 6 every time, and as soon as your bait hits the bottom you will have a crab on it!!! bloody annoying!!!

  14. well got to use my tld 15 for the first time ever today... i found it pretty easy to cast, could chuck a bait out a fair way, recon it will be pretty good off the beach for bronzies and rays!   16. Hay i just got a new tld 15 spooled with 8kg, mainly gonna use it in the boat for eaglies but was wondering weather there hard to cast or not? was thinking about trying to cast baits out off the beach with it?

  19. hay lloyd i saw a 9 footer landbased on a tld 50, it took my mate 1 hour and 50mins to get it to the jetty only to loose it, probs would have taken another half hour to try and land!!! I think some sharks just go harder then others!
