  5. its people like that, that screw it up for everybody. it seems my chances of catching my first mully are getting slimmer and slimmer because of some greedy people. makes me so mad
  6. iam not saying there should be no regulations at all. i totally agree with size and bag limits etc and people who dont follow this rule should be delt with. just dont think its nesseasary to put limits on what line, hook size and time of day you can fish.
  7. i really do feel sorry for the land based fisherman. its hard enough to catch a feed off the rocks and jetties as it is.
  8. i understand that rules and regulations need to be in place. but seriously not being able to use certain types of hooks and wire traces during the day. i dont see what the problem is. sharks arnt being lured to the shores by fisherman. they have always been the its their domain and they will go where the food is. it dosnt really affect me at all because i own a boat and dont fish for sharks. just some of the things iv been hearing latley are a joke. fishing shouldnt be that hard in my opinion.
  9. dont know about you guys but with all this talk of changing the rules eg hook size, where you can and cant fish, not using wire trace in daylight and the snapper ban. its almost to hard to go fishing. should it really be this damb complicated to wet a line!!!!! i feel like i have to research every little thing before i go out in our metro waters so i dont get fined or somthing. can it really get much harder? just want to know everones thoughts. cheers.
  10. ive got a nikon d200. great camera. its a bit old now tho. to great great photos you must have great lenses. depends how good photos you want but dont buy cheap lenses. i have a lens that was just over $2000 wen it was new. a few of my photos can be seen on. www.flickr.com if you google my name you will find them.
  11. has anyone tried a teqnique i saw on a dvd called trailer boat snapper filmed at whyalla. he uses a water baloon only blown up thr size of you thumb nail and hook through it to keep the vait off the bottom. i also use a running rig but iam sure my bait sits on the bottom hence why i keep getting rays and dog sharks. cheers.

  20. hi mate. i agree with jack. go pro is the way to go. i have the hero 1 which still has full 1080 hd but the 2 takes better stills. also water proof up to 60m i always take mine out fishing and drop in next to the burley pot. if you get the hero 2 you can also get a wifi for it so you can watch its live footage upto 1 km away but not sure how good that would work under water. you can get so may accessories for it aswell. lcd screen, spare batteries etc. id check out yhe go pro hero 2 for sure. goodluck.
