Was talking to a guy at the St Kilda boat ramp yesterdayHe had a bucket full of fish and shark scraps he had bought for crab baitApparently from The Fish Factory for around $2 a kiloHe had never used carp for crabs so i swapped him a carp head for some scraps.I did notice though that with every pull i was getting more crabs with the Carp baitWas talking to a mate last night and he tells me its because the carp STINK a lot more than sea water fishSecondly does anyone use those plastic crab bait holders and does it restrict the amount of bait the crabs stealA few times yesterday i had to re-bait

  15. Depending on the item. For example if it was say something that included an OZ warranty and follow up i would buy from OZ but i would be doing a bit of haggling and hope to get 10% off at least.Remembering it has now become a bigger ticket item and the savings difference is minimal I just bought a handheld GPS for $180 from the USThe same GPS in OZ, say j.appleseed is around the $400 - $500 markOk it doesnt have Oz Maps but i only bought it to save and find fishing GPS marks.Down the track i will add oz marine mapsSo i saved at least $200. If it breaks down and warranty wont cover it ill just g

We had a similar issue at Mannum over New YearsThese guys in jet skis kept whizzing buy speeding and deliberately coming close to upset our fishingBUTThe son in law and his mate are crazy and pulled out sling shots with what i thought was marbles So every time they flew past they peppered them and hit the mark most timesEnded out he wasnt using marbles but paint ballsSure made a mess of them and their skisThey were not happy when they eventually saw the mess of paint and came back to protest. But they soon took off when the son in law started shooting at and hitting a ferry sign with real marbl
