  2. At home I have a main Plano 7 Tray Tackle box but find it very heavy and cumbersome. So whenever I go I use a High Sierra carry bag. And pack the according gear. The main things I will usually take wherever I go is:1. A couple of Squid Jags i.e. Pink Sephias, Yamashita Naturals.2. A few Bibbed Lures like Salmon Size usually in a Pilly Colour.3. A Range of Soft Plastics & and Jigheads to match. Paddle Tails, Wrigglers etc4. Pre Made Rigs Whiting Paternosters and Running Rigs.5. Spare Leader of many breaking strains. These I think will cover anything that can be occured on a Breakwater, Jetty a
  3. Personally I reckon the best Bait for the ol Crab.Is the humble shitty or trumpeter. They are oily, tough and pin well.If you ever are whiting fishing and hook some of these. Which you certainly will! Put them out as your crab baits.I live by them! TT

  5. How did we know he was gonna say that! Nah Sambo is right My Lure Shop is a great site full of the best Lures you can get. All the big brands and good prices aswell as delivery and customer service. If you are wanting Bream/Trout Lures you would be silly not to buy from them.On the other hand if wanting Rods, Reels etc than MoTackle is hard to beat. Very good prices! Cheers TT
  6. I have so far only used Fireline, Power Pro and other 'Generic Braids.'Personally I have found for overall performance Power Pro to be the best. Some may think it is thicker than other brands which it is but I believe this is what makes it so robust and abrasion resistant.I would like though down the track want to try Sunline, or Saltiga Braid etc.Cheers TT
  7. Nice Bream Buddy!Whats your new Outfit and what did she take.Top Work TT
  8. Tried for Porties Salmon. Ahh yep no! Huge Swells with 25 knot winds do not mix with a 3 - 5 kg Graphite Rod and 4lb Braid!Worked the inside of the Onk. Water was chocolate donuted on the Onk Bream with Lures. On top of that I lost Basketball by the final shot, School goes back Monday and I am not Fishing any time soon! So yer Jack I am having a ripper weekend! Lol TT
  9. Is Travel an Issue? If so go for a Tcurve Travel Revolution I reckon the 7 ft 5 - 19 kg model would do you well! Stop anything Salty Barra, Queenies, Cod, and even the Trevas.Aswell as that the Starlo Stixs are great rods. Super Light, but built tough! 20 - 30lb Braid and a 4000 Stradic. Dude you will have some killer fun! TT
  10. Tuna Oil is a good idea, I have had some success with that before! But personally I am under the impression that 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it!' Why go to the hard work of making your own when the greatest fish attractant (S Factor) is right there for you! Keep using that and keep catching fish.Cheers TT

    IFISH STYLE

Plus remember alternatively you can do what I do!Use your original Camera and put in a housing.Like this http://www.over-board.com.au/waterproof-zoom-lens-camera-case-black.htmlReasons why:1. Much Cheaper!2. Floats when dropped not sink like a Camera.3. Much deeper submergence depths.Just something to think about! TT

    IFISH STYLE

Hey mate! As regards to what IFISH use that is a Towcam. That will set you back around $2800. So thats off the list!If you want good photos, video and a cheap price I don't think you can look past the Olympus Tough Range and from that the TG - 810 Model! 720p HD Video, 14 Megapixels and completely waterproof. The Lumix Range is also very good but a bit out of the price range. And remember till then I am still happy to shoot for you TT
  20. Excellent Video DT!Can I ask what your preffered form of fishing is when you see these schools?Poppers, Trolling or Cubing etc? Just wanting to know yet to catch one bu the Tuna is an excellent species!TT
  21. Thanks mate alawys happy to help. (With my little knowledge when I can!)Really want to be hitting the Schoolies this year, yet to catch a Mully of any size and would love it on a Lure too!TT
  22. I think it basically comes down to three main things.1. Direct Contact with Lure and Bottom at all times.2. Paddle Tail plastics or anything with an inbuilt action!3. Slow it down with rolls and hops instead of burns and flicks! If you know what I mean :cheer: If I had to choose I am flicking with these:1. 70mm Squidgy fish Silver Fox and Black Gold.2. Squidgy Mongrel Boof Mullet.3. 110mm Squidgy Shad in White Lightning. And for any more information Here is a video you might want to watch:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGtrUmmZHYgCheers as always TT. Tight Lines go smack some Jew!
