  3. On ya boys for doing the right thing (K point each ) I have no doubt that these groups are of a certain 'nationality' and these groups seem to have a disregard for our fisheries laws > the same 'group' of people who are more than likely responsible for netting around garden island > (not this group at St K) the same 'group' that rape the Bream spots in the port > Just my 2c worth ;D
  4. Very nice sized carp lads well done ;D Luke ya need a hair cut :icon_lol: :icon_lol:
  5. If I found him down the pub > at age 13 I'd kick his back side all the way home ;D :icon_lol:

  10. Great idea Tony C sinkers are small enough to keep a couple in ya pocket while ya fishing ;D
  11. Cheers Brooksey ;D no vibe :-\ A Killalure Flatz Rat2 and it SMASHED it ;D it hit that hard it almost ripped the rod from my hand The biggest fish I have ever caught ;D http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/z4pVNcJC__Flatz_Rat2.jpg[/img]
  12. I got this one on the weekend during the Cobdogla Callop Classic ;D http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/IdkI36f7__Big_Carp_2_21_9_08.JPG[/img]
  13. very nice Buff so when ya opening the on-line lure shop :icon_lol: I like the Bassday C-137 color 8) and the Atomic HardZ 8) not a fan of the Prong :-\ but I hope to be proven wrong one day there are heaps of vibes getting around ATM
  14. Very nice pics . Welcome Harry, Yes the old Tart gets around a bit :icon_lol: :icon_lol: She is a lovely dog :'(
  15. I could always get my Little Miss Lure to join she's 14 :icon_e_wink: :icon_lol:
  16. Scotty Towner, the #1 bream angler in the country also uses cardinals with Berkley drop shots rods, but also remember they are sponsored by Berkley/Pure Fishing who distribute ABU.Yak has shown me Daiwa reels at Tackle World and I think would be a better buy ;D I used to be a Shimano fan but I've tried Shimano and Daiwa and now its Daiwa for me ;D
  17. I like my lures to suspend so they 'hang' in the strike zone, I'm not too fond of a floater . But all lures serve their purpose float, suspend or sink. They do, and its a good thing they do, as in the last classic when we had to chase the same lure of mine, twice in five minutes :icon_lol:
  18. Just thought I'd give one of our sponsors a plug, hope ya don't mind Finatic .I popped into Tackle World @ Salisbury yesterday for a cuppa and Finatic showed me the new range of Daiwa Luvias Bream rods that arrived :P :-* :-* WOW were they impressive, light as a feather, super duper strong, nice EVA grips, a sweet all round ripper of a rod, and added to my shopping list for xmas ;D.I tried to find a pic on the net to post up but I couldn't :-\. Stop in and have a look, well worth consideration
  19. That's the story i heard too Gyro have a K point
  20. Its great to see some SA monsters that can eat those eastern yellowfin Bream for breakfast :icon_lol:
  21. Awesome Bream pics Shauno :icon_eek:, great Bream by everyone :icon_e_biggrin:
  22. Cal,I would have agree with Big L on this one. I used a raider for almost a year and I found it a bit stiff in the tip for casting small Bream lures :icon_e_wink:. My advice would be to go to Tackle World at Salisbury and see Yak. I went there last week with a budget and got a Daiwa Tierra (as I posted). See Yak he'll set ya right :icon_e_wink:
  23. G'day Pellipeeli,I like to dabble in bream occasionally :icon_lol:. I recommend Ecogear SX40, VX Vibes and Jackal Chubbies Deep Divers this time of year the VX and the Chubbies would be best as the weather is still cold and the Bream will be still holding deep .
  24. Have to put in an order for that one :icon_lol: I'll have to place a call with the master lure painter himself :icon_lol: :icon_lol: may be a custom colour :icon_lol: :icon_lol:
