Never been out there before so just made an educated guess where to find them, think we assed it :laugh:Snapper came from around edithburgh, we departed edithburgh boat ramp to wedge. 3hrs each way, long day in the boat today, :S
  3. already got a 10kg tuna and a slightly smaller snapper, already off to a good start
  4. they were pretty much 20cm across is that good enough?
  5. That little pond up near the skate park is where I have had most of my luck using squidgy wrigglers predominantly, even hooked something in there that there was no stopping on my light gear till it busted me off.But I have only fished there once since last year and had not even a single sniff.
  6. I may only be 25 but I can still remember the browns gates being closed when I was very young, due to rubbish left on the beach, not the best thing you want to see after the big drive down there. You would think that after all this time people would have a bit more sense then to just leave thier crap everywhere.Growing up my family used to do browns trips just about fortnightly, the amount of times I used to dig up huge amounts of rubbish just buried in the sand was rediculous. I thought that the rubbish thing was getting better down there maybe I just dont play in the sand as much
  7. Cut and paste from an add for them, could be a decent idea to grab some I reckon for those just incase moments.
  8. I'm guessing it's this one I pinched from your profile pics? like others have said photobucket is the way to go for hosting photos if you wanna show them off
  9. I must say I really like the kevlacat :woohoo: . My old man had a look at them when buying our new boat but ended up going for the noosa cat.
  10. I grabbed a berkley dropshot for about those dollars, in love with it
  11. Still hanging to see my first big white up close. We have brought a fair few half snapper up to the boat and had BIG dark shadows down deep below the boat but nothing up close.
