brenton 637
Personally i only use fresh cheap white bread ,i squeeze this into marble sized balls so that it sinks and chuck them around the area i,m going to fish.I will also mush some up with water and scatter that around too. cheers brenton
benny 1
Scatterd berley works best for carp as in the torrens there is not enough current to distribute the berley properly but it is still worth a shot near the weirs.
alfybabe 12
it seems that no one post up here anymore as there hast been any since last year anyhow atm there is no water in the torrens so i wouldnt go there ,if you want big carp go to mawson lakes and use cream corn with anaseed in it or fresh bread mixed with anaseed as the carp love the anaseed i nearly broke the metre with a pb carp from mawson lakes going 97cm on the above burley cheers :icon_e_surprised:
watersnake 2
I use Vanilla Ess. instead off Anaseed and it works well. I use Asaseed one day and Vanilla Ess. the next , I did this for about 10 days and got more hits on the Vanilla. This was in the Murray but Not the Torrens, that should not make a differance. If there not bitting on the vanilla and bread I then switch to the corn. The Cream corn sounds good idea, I will try that next time I using corn. :cheer:
Del 245
i also am a fan of Creamed corn for burley. and super sweet corn for bait or white bread. am planning to carp a local dam soon.. so will have to experiment with burleys if i plan to beat Tony B... Piranha 76
try some dry dog food in a berly cage or shrimp net, they will come in close for that and you can sightcast your bait to them
U-turn 0
I found that jelly crystals bread crumbs ond creamed corn mixed together is good berley. For bait i use plain corn!!:cheer: hope this helps
