nbro2 13
Hi I was thinking of buying a cranka crab. Just wondering if anybody out there use's them? and which colour selection works best?
keenfisho 1,416
If you can get them, buy them! Awesome but very expensive
Tinker 1,645
Brown Crab, and Olive Crab are the ducks guts on SA bream. You will cry golden tears every time you lose one but. Harder to get than a date with Miranda Kerr, who is almost as good as Cranka Crabs, just don't stick the tongue in on the first date. Sand Crab is popular interstate too. ASD14 197
you can get them from this joint https://www.fishin.com.au/ but as others said there like $21 each, so its a fair kick in the teeth lol. Brankim
Tinker 1,645
Get into them while stocks last, they dont last long. Second hand CCs were going for 40-50 bucks on ebay and some fishing forums.
Tinker 1,645
Does anybody know any stores in the Adelaide metro area with Cranka Crabs? If so, please PM me ASAP.
ludaqryz 290
I heard from staff at port rd bcf today a bloke caught a mullly at West Lakes with a crab lure and that they were on the shelf there. I was in a bit of a hurry and did not see which kind of crab lure it was but if you give them a ring you could find out.
Cal 480
Not trying to throw the thread off track, but anyone tried the savage gear crabs?
Kuerschie 2,309
The SavageGear crabs are the ones sold by BCF. They're different to the Crankas in that the hook is in the middle with a jighead and they're made using PVC materials. They're not bad lures for bream. Cranka ones have trebles on each claw and are worth every cent, if you can get your hands on one. Cal and Tinker
Tinker 1,645
Picked up 3 today with another 5 on order. From experience they were buggers sometimes to cast long distances coz the hooks kept fouling up with the leader. Apparently this issue has been rectified. Excellent for teabagging over the edge of rockwalls and pontoons.
ASD14 197
wonder if these would work at a snapper ground off a boat, put it in the rod holder and let the waves work the crab... hmmmm seagypsy
