Kelvin 2,200
Poor technique with the string yank technique. You need to stabilize the shank of the hook to stop it twisting and keep the point inline with the direction of removal. It is by far the safest and easiest removal technique. AquaticResearch1 1,046
That pop... Normally I can handle pain and a bit of gore but that just, eh.
Tinker 1,645
Keep a little pair of boltcutters in your tackle bag. Get it out, and get back into the fishing. No pain...no gain.
Brankim 945
That's man is not well! Like kelvin said... You don't yank, and from personal experience... Once you get to the barb... That's where the fun begins. I don't recommend pulling it through. I found sliding a knife blade down and using that to push the skin away from the barb worked best for me. You'll end up doing some proper damage if you just rip it out!! That guys an absolute idiot!! Tinker

Brankim 945
Yeah, might have trouble ever moving you're toes again if you went just yanking that hook out😮🙈 Definately be pulling tendons and other stuff you don't wanna be pulling out with it! Can't see any easy way of dealing with that one! Poor bugger! JAYMAN
