Softy 2,991
Being a bit of a S/W n00b.. are sea lice only a issue at night? Never had a problem with them before (only fishing s/water during the day)

SandyWhiting 0
Yep Iv always experienced them, IMO doesn't matter morning or afternoon, evening, especially snorkelling..Pain in the back side
Russ 0
I have only been plagued by these little critters once of real note, that was at the O'Sullivans barges on a clear moon lit night not sure what the moon was at the time. Couldn't keep fresh fish bait on the hook for very long before rendered obsolete by the little buggers.
Highfly 0
Definately a night thing when ive fished, however Ive had some nights no probs other times, ...........Never really paid attention. Was wondering whether well lit nights they disappear and come out on dark nights ie new moon.Just wondered if anyone knew for sure ?
shane 0
I have had them on all moon phase’s summer mainlyI have heard soaking your bait in diesel works That might spot the sea lice and the fish I would think or give sandywhiting a rash I myself would just switch baits to squid that slows then a bit
grouchy 2
I remember getting them alot in summer when fishing of henley beach jetty, some nights not a real hassle and some nights having whole fish cleaned in about 10mins. But I got them last week at grange jetty. They might be moving down the coastline if they where at rapid bay a few days ago?? I'm assuming the migratory like crickets or other pests. I pulled one huge one the other night it was about 4cm long and very plump, never seen one that big before.
