after having three good hook ups today, only crap carp but good fun on the light stuff with some nice runs and lots of drag work. I have no wobbles ect in my reel ;D

I also have a custom kix reel, will take note this arvo when I fish with it to see if it also has a wobble. ;D

Ha ha I went for a spurr of the moment carp fish today as well, the rods were in the car from sunday. ;DDropped past a shop for some bait ( I dont fly fish cos im crap )Hooked 10 good size fish (approx 600-800mm+) on the light stuff, but I didnt have a net and couldnt pull them up the few feet of the bank. so every one I got to the bank pulled the hooks as I tried to lean over and grab the gills.Sorry no pics as its a bit hard to take pics and play a fish at the same time :PI did try to take a video but was also trying to wind in the fish so the video was crap, but the reel scream was good

You haven't seen the cost of good fishing tackle have you knob head.Then take to him with a large fish scaler just prior to fileting. ;D

I have the neoprene waders and they are hot, but thats ok when its cold :icon_e_wink:But I note when I am walking in them I get a chaffed section on my legs where the boot meets the neoprene above ankle height, I overcome this by wearing 2 pairs of socks and the second pair being long footy socks.
