  3. Took these couple of photos yesterday not long after sunrise, was a little late getting the camera out and the sun burnt the mist off quicker than I could get out in the back yard.. Any way decided I'll use these as a test photo on the new upgrade.... Wow !! it's a quick upload which is great and much easier to use... cheers Adrian
  4. Nothing like a challenge Mickyj, go and give them a go when you get the chance mate... cheers Adrian
  5. Back when I was a kid I used to eat tripe, pigs trotters and crumbed lamb brains doobie... don't know if I could today.. cheers Adrian

  7. Yes Barney, it's quite a simple one too... I hope you can follow this, it's quite a simple recipe and one that's also very tasty too.. Pam won't eat it as she can't stand the thought of eating lambs livers, but she reckons it smells great.. When I make a batch of it I have to make a large one as there's a few friends here that are right into it and their partners won't eat it either, so I make it for them as well. ** What's required: Two whole lambs fry, two or thee large onions, 8 whole slices of bacon rashers, salt & pepper, Gravox, one or two cups of plain flour placed in a pl
  8. I don't mind it ether, but I prefer & love lambs fry & bacon that I make from my Mum's old recipe. ..
  9. It's Mega litres SF, and yes it's snow as well as rain on & off over the past week, and there's more to come over the next four days too.. That happened a few timed before I found the on line site doobie, made trips to rivers only to find they were running way too high to fish.. cheers Adrian
  10. Here's the site I use this on a regular basis here in Tasmania as it save me wasting my time driving 40 or 50 kms only to find the river isn't safe enough to hop in a wade.. Also after using this site for many years I now know when I can have a spin session in safe water level.. I check the Mersey, Leven, Sth Esk Rivers & Western Creek as they're the main Rivers I fish.. The Dasher & Minnow are close to home, besides there's no reading for them any way.. http://dpipwe.tas.gov.au/water/water-data/river-flow-plots-(sites-m-z) The chart below is from yesterday which is from Strathbrid
  11. Now that's what I call a fishing trip.. beautiful part of Australia too.. Always been on my bucket list.. but had to toss it ( with the rest of them ) as I knew it wont happen... Great video clip, thoroughly enjoyed it, well done.. cheers Adrian
  12. That's great, something you would see all that often either..
  13. Thanks guys, I often wonder if I'm the only one that's been in some of these small streams with a trout rod.. I've never come across any signs of others being in some these areas I've managed to get into.. it can be a little creepy at times too.. so quiet except for a bird call, the sound of running water and the feeling of something watching one from time to time when you here a rustle in a bush nearby.... cheers Adrian
  14. Trout fishing the hard to get to streams/creeks.. 17-9-17 Getting into some of these small streams & creeks can be quite testing.. Once there, well it's worth it most times.. I was sitting here today going through some of the 22,000 plus photos that I have taken over the years I've spent trout fishing rivers, streams & creeks around Tasmania since moving here back in March 2000. I know the majority trout fishers that fish the rivers normally go to the more accessible areas and rarely try the more difficult hard to get to little rivers, streams & creeks that are quite pl
  15. Right!! I'm over this cold weather, doesn't it know it's supposed to be "Spring" The rivers were just getting to the right height for wading, now they're running high and fast due to more rain as well as snow melt. Water temps will have come right down again too... Still one good thing is that it will help fatten the trout up and hopefully they'll be hungry and more aggressive too... this is what I seen the past couple of mornings from the back door.. cheers Adrian
  16. Plenty of white outs & snow around today.. even snowing on and off here in Sheffield today, at the moment (11;17 am) it's reached 2.3 degrees, chill factor is making it -3.8 degrees... No fishing for a couple of days, same conditions tomorrow... http://www.weatherzone.com.au/tas/northwest-coast/sheffield cheers Adrian
  17. This is probably not the biggest squid seen or caught, but I reckons it's close to one of the biggest I've seen for quite some time.. It was caught off the East Coast here in Tassie.. cheers Adrian
  18. That certainly looks okay to me... yummy!!!
  19. Very nice indeed.. well done Panga..
