    Mulloway

Tonka would be the man Micky but from what he has discussed with me some have hit while the fly is just sinking, that is in the Onk so the tide would give it a bit of slow drift. cheers brenton
  2. I don't mind the XRaps and some have had success on them but Ive had a couple of them leak water into the body. cheers brenton
  3. Almost the same thing happened to a mate except he lost the trailer and all,the strange thing was he drove all the way from torrens island to Hackam before he noticed and when he did go back looking for it he didn't bother going down the trunkway and just went home. The cops rang my other mate because he was the previous owner and we went down there and found it in the bushes...not a scratch and nothing missing. cheers brenton

    live baits

If theres tidal flow i go through the top lip but if you can be bothered bridal rigging would be better.Lightly pinned through the shoulder at the beginning of the dorsal fin would be the most popular or you can also go through just behind the arse and this will tend to keep you livey a bit higher in the water column. There are also other options as well. cheers brenton
  5. I reckon you may letting the flies lay too many eggs on the meat and its getting overcrowded.I don,t breed them anymore though as i only use about 1 tub a session and its not worth the trouble of breeding them, but if your groundbaiting and fishing a few times a week i can see how it can become worth breeding your own. cheers brenton
  6. Well done Lloyd,my best have come from the top of the gulf but it aint metro,Benny summed it up best i reckon and some real stonkers have come from there. Those silver foxes and the pearl blue minnows are the go i reckon. cheers brenton
  7. I,d say get 2 rods myself 1 for whiting and 1 for salmon and ruggers.A Silstar crystal tip would be a good replacement for your old rod on the salmon and ruggers and for the KG i,d be looking for something in the Tica range.Just remember you only live once and it is Xmas. cheers brenton
  8. Good on you for getting out there Mick, did you see many biggies in the shallows and how was the clarity.? cheers brenton

  11. I,ve caught stuff all bream at night on S/P and i,ve given it a pretty decent go at times.I reckon noise, vibration and a colour that can reflect any availiable light is what makes the difference. cheers brenton

  14. yeah you gotta ask, whats the point of that sort of treatment.I also don,t get why some people debarb them before thet let them go.At least the lads on this site are better educated and i'd take C&R over the treatment that ray got anyday cheers brenton

  19. do i still get the prize???I still had to beat the flu to get down there lol cheers brenton
  20. Many residents feed the bream bread and your right they come from nowhere to get a feed but i hope the bucket fillers don,t get onto how easy it would be.I fish lures myself and its almost impossible to get a touch when theres bread in the water, i reckon using bread is cheating anyway but the little ones take it first and the biggies become very shy after one is hooked. cheers brenton
  21. I replied on BM Chuck but that vids worth an extra response,Top stuff to you and Corrine....you don,t believe in taking it easy on 4lb do you. cheers brenton

  25. I had an interesting chat with a resident the other night and he seemed like a pretty good bloke at first , then he gave me a wink and asked me if i,d like to come up to his unit and have a cold beer....i declined his offer as i didn,t want to find myself trussed up in his cupboard with a fractured date. :icon_eek: cheers brenton
