spent a all nighter there few yr's back.. from what I remember it runs pretty hard through there on high tide and deep.. you can pretty much see from the ledge where to cast , got a few snags there to so take a few heavy sinkers
good spot that used to be.. pulling them out between the pylons on light gear was awesome fun, my ol' Sedona 2000 rear lever drag would scream its tits off! \m/ lol
a bit before your time but was quite common to catch 45cm+ Bream under the Jervois bridge previous to the port development when there was more warf structure and a yacht mooring adjacent, i myself pulled a 56cm on half a pilchard, unfortunately no digital camera at that time.. was even more common to pull 60+cm models around the back of torrens island back in the day..
remember using handline with a pro over Ceduna 20 odd yr ago catching kg whiting, last yr used a handline over pt Lincoln off Brennans warf, caught a heap of salmon, gud fun when you have limited fishing gear
well done lads, too bleed insert finger through the gills like you did @ 4:45 and break the gill membrane by folding your index finger back towards yourself and breaking it
