HB's and SP's for me depending on the location I'm fishing and I will have one of each on a rod ready to go so I can change quick as needed even in open water the other day with Ranger, we were bait fishing and I chucked out an SP and bounced it across the bottom it got wrecked by those bloody puffers : but I will throw a lure and any species, 99% of the time its Bream loves me lure fishing

Merry Christmas Guys,For those of us who practice C.P.R Catch, photo, release like me I learnt a very good tip watching 'Fishing DVD 7' last night while wrapping presents .I have been guilty in the past of hooking and landing fish and thinking, yep I'll get a pic of that, I then just leave it in the net or de-hook it and leaving it on the floor while organizing the camera :-\ all this does is make it dangerous for the fish's survival and the number 1 priority is to ensure the fish's survival if you don't intend to keep it.So they had this tip on the DVD ;)Once you net your fish, bring it up

Question About Salmon Trout

Thanks DaBilda :icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_lol: -
G'day guys, Merry Christmas to AllHave a question in regards to Salmon Trout, I have caught plenty in the Port, and I was having a chat to a bloke over work lunch, who has only been fishing once in a blue moon. He said ST's are different species to Salmon to which I replied "I think they are juvenile Salmon", am I correct? are they just juvenile Salmon? Cheers

:thumb:Just MHO ;DU wanna explain your reasons LL?Sure Yobbo. I brought a Starlo Stick and used it for a while (about a year) to flick around HB and SPs, I never liked the way it cast :-\ I found I couldn't get a good distance with it and think there are better options out there . I have since purchased a Daiwa and it is much better by along way Just my personal preference
-
They do go for a Daiwa ;D :thumb:Just MHO ;D

Mrs LL asked if I could move the rods from behind the front door so I thought how am I going to store them :-\ and this is what I came up with [thumb]http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/lazzylure/Rack_1.jpg[/thumb][thumb]http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/lazzylure/Rack_2.jpg[/thumb]It was quite easy just a screw to support the reel and butt[thumb]http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/lazzylure/Rack_3.jpg[/thumb]Then a picture hook to support the tip section [thumb]http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/lazzylure/Rack_4.jpg[/thumb]It also helps save on space and looks neat and tidy ;)Ch
