Hey Weedie,Mike is right what you need is a Flourocarbon which is almost invisible under water.There are a few different ones on the market depending on what your targeting ;)There is Vanish like mike said also daiwa TDR competition, Black magic, Platypus Stealth, plus many moreThe aim with lure/placcy's is to fool the fish which is why you should use a line which is almost invisible in the water.Cheers Adam

  13. SWEET AS The thing that made me lean towards them alot more was that they have 7CRBB bearings oppose to the SOL having 7 stainless bearings with only 3 of these being CRBB.Very very nice reelAdam

Do it yourself Cal have many mates who have trimmed them down (One who used the saw on his multi-tool at salt creek. lol)but most will use as lamdbased said a fine tooth hacksaw bladeAnd i sent one back that a customer bought that had a slight defect in the blank he had cut the butt almost to the grip They said noworries and exchanged it for himCheers Adam
