just wondering if anyone could tell me or give me the link to a good site that would help me with tying braid knots? I am new to using it and would like to know more knots, and have been told that normal knots should not be used or may not work with braid? so I would like to know some different ways of tying knots using braid. any help would be good :) thanks

I find this site the most usefull.http://www.animatedknots.com/albright/index.php?Categ=fishing&LogoImage=LogoGrog.jpg&Website=www.animatedknots.comAlbright knot works for me for joining braid to flurocarbon.

Chuck is on the money. If you're wanting to connect braid to a swivel I use a uni knot. Fairly easy to tie with braid or mono.

I use the modified albright knot for braid to leader, great knot, and is castable with no effect on guides. From knot wars.... http://www.fishingclub.com/video-tv2/knot-wars.aspxwww.youtube.com/watch?v=2R_2xautA1U

does the Albright knot really hold??? does not look to be very strong in that animation. or am I looking at the wrong one... loop in the end of one, then put the end of one thru the original loop made and twist it around the other a few times, then put the end thru the original loop and pull it tight???

The uni knot has heaps of uses, as people have said a double will connect braid to mono or mono to mono, and the single can attach line to your spool, snell a hook quite well and even connect a tippet to a fly line.My two favourite connections for braid to mono though are the slim beauty for light line, say 10lb and under, or a double tied with a bimini then an albright to attach the leader for heavier stuff.Any of those sites can show you those knots, or just use the google. :)
