sbarnden 397
I've been watching a lot of fishing video's on youtube, and not just the homemade trip footage. Some really good shows and footage showing up so I thought I would list off some of my favourites to share and see if anyone has come across any good channels of their own. First up is KanalGratis.se https://www.youtube.com/user/kanalgratisdotse As you might guess from the name its Swedish but a lot of their videos are either in English or with subtitles. Top playlists I enjoyed watching are Fly vs Jerk, Perch Pro and the Florida Chronicles which has some really great footage and cinematography. Seriously a lot of professional full episode content. But not to leave Australia out of the mix. Up north there are some young guns producing some great footage, if a bit dangerous. Morning Tide Fishing - great rock fishing footage for pelagic's. Comes with a disclaimer - don't try and do what they do! https://www.youtube.com/user/MorningTideFishing Not fishing but close enough, Young Blood Spearfishing. Fantastic footage, make me want to go buy some fins, except for all the sharks. There are a lot of sharks. https://www.youtube.com/user/brodiemoss Overseas again with southern US beaches, not such good footage and compositions but great beach fishing information. Particularly the 'read the beach' videos. https://www.youtube.com/user/311POPE Anyone else have some good channels to follow? archerfish

sbarnden 397
Yeah, I've been watching some of them. And YFTV. There is a lot of what normally would be DVD and televised content coming online now-days where they are presenting it in less the technical/instructional style and more as artistic cinematic style that I have been really enjoying. A lot of it is coming from Europe/Scandinavia on both Youtube and Vimeo. Things like: Cold Reeds A 20 minute video about the cold autumn/spring pike fishing in Finland, put together in part by the fly outfit I was fishing with when I was in Helsinki. Norrlands Guld (2&3 have English Subtitles and the best composition) https://www.youtube.com/user/ThePiker93Pike seems to get a pretty good video showcase in Europe, and they are great to catch. If you are ever up in Europe or North America during open water season go pike fishing! Fly fishing for them from float tubes like shown in Cold Reeds is a ball! The "Nordic Sea Angler goes ..." set in the KanalGratis Florida Chronicles playlist have some awesome footage and composition as well. The episode "Nordic Sea Angling goes Rooster and Dorado Fishing" has these fantastic slow-mo footage when they are popping inshore for roosters where you see the combs break the water in a spray as they slice through attacking the poppers. As much as I like the instructional type of videos the ones that really get my two thumbs up are where they take fishing and present it in a way you can really call art. Tinker 1,645
Alex's fishing. He fishes almost the same way I do, catching many of the same fish species. Part of the problem with fishing shows on TV and Pootube, they don't often target the bread and butter species that most of us catch. At least Alex hits the nail on the head in that department. langas and Alexsfishin1
ASD14 197
For me, Youfishtv (BigFishChannel) is the best, great videos and Brendan explains a lot more than most... plus I LOVE his barcrusher.
