This site is my social networking Aaron... ;DHave tried facebook but waste of time in my opinion, I cancelled my account as I couldn't be stuffed spending time on it !!Better things to be doing online like checking out fishing sites :icon_lol:

Aarron I would have to agree Jagger, these types of sites just don't anything for me either.I would rather spend my spare time reading posts on Strike and Hook and I guess its an individual's choice at the end of the day.CheersMJ

Hi guys,My mrs set me up on facebook as she had just set herself up on it.I thought what a waste of time, i'll never use it but,i came over from the uk 2 years ago and had pretty much lost contact with friends over there.Since registering on face book some of them have found me and we are in contact again.So i guess its good for some.Colin

I got facebook and myspace and all that but I have kinda outgrown myspace so just facebook for me!

I have facebook. I dont use it much, but its a very handy way of sharing photos with distant friends.

Never were interested or have tried myspace etc,Just use facebook, its good to keep in touch with distant family, and they can see our kids growing up with photos etc,

My daughter set me up with face book, ppl and family send stuff to it i read it then bin it, i dont think I could spend more time on another forum site, besides there isnt much on it that interest me

beating a warn out drum here but i also have facebook check it about once a week c wat my bro in goldcoast sends me the rest of my life is spent here if not working or fishing ;D

With forums sites like this you can obtain some really good information and meet some really great people with similar interest. Facebook etc...just doesn't interest me.MPV.

Well I'm on Facebook but rarely use it - I just don't like the style.In fact I don't use anything like it or MSN Messenger either.I thoroughly enjoy forums though,nice to sit back,study posts and give a well reasoned answer.For instant natter there is shoutbox on here.I'm involved with several very helpful forums - non fishing.In those I have to bite my tongue and have refused to be a moderator!!

Id rather some people not find me (have got a massive social network as it is) so i dont use any of that stuff. I see it as utter crap, if you want to socialise go out to somewhere and meet people face to face. Ends up better in the end

Signed up to facebook a while ago and the only reason I still use it (maybe once a fortnight) is to stay up to date with a few friends overseas. If it wasn't for them being over there I would just use the internet for strikehook and my internet banking. Maybe occasionally researching a new purchase.

I use facebook pretty often...If you're an amatuer musician myspace is a wonderful thing.But I'm with most others.... internet time is spend on fishing sites :fishing:

I'm on myspace and facebook. I run a record label so myspace is an invaluable tool for marketing. Facebook is good for it too but myspace takes the cake. Facebook is better for me to keep in touch with artists and mates I've met from interstate, makes organising things a lot easier.
